Honed tubing<\/a> is seamless cold drawn steel tubing that have been honed. Honing is a machining process. The inner hole of the cold-drawn steel tube is reciprocating high-speed grinding through the honing head, so that the inner hole can meet the required tolerance size and surface roughness requirements for the hydraulic cylinder barrels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Compared with the traditional honing process, the boring and rolling tube has the following advantages:<\/p>\n

1. Improve processing efficiency: the processing speed is nearly twenty times that of honing<\/p>\n

2. Improve the surface hardness: the surface hardness is increased by more than 50%.<\/p>\n

3. Machining accuracy: The machining accuracy can reach IT8 level, and the surface roughness can reach Ra0.05-0.4\u03bcm<\/p>\n

4. Working environment: low noise, no pollution, saving labor costs<\/p>\n

5. Reasonable processing procedures: Scraping and rolling can be arranged as the last procedure after other procedures (such as drilling holes, welding, threading, etc.) are completed.<\/p>\n
