The seamless honed tubing adopts the rolling process, because the surface layer has residual compressive stress on the surface, which helps to seal the tiny cracks on the surface and hinders the expansion of the erosion effect. Therefore, the corrosion resistance of the surface is enhanced, and the generation or expansion of fatigue cracks can be delayed, thereby enhancing the fatigue strength of the product. Through roll forming, a cold work hardened layer is formed on the rolled surface of the honed tubes, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, thereby enhancing the wear resistance of the inner wall of the product and avoiding burns caused by grinding. After rolling, the surface roughness value decreases, which can increase the mating properties.
1. High precision Honing generally can only enhance the shape accuracy of the honed tubing. To enhance the position accuracy of the honed tubes, some measures need to be taken. For example, use a panel to improve the verticality of the tube end face and the axis.
2. Good surface quality: The surface of the honed hydraulic cylinder tubing is crossed, which is conducive to the storage of lubricating oil and the maintenance of oil film. It has a high surface support rate, so it can bear a large load, resist wear and prolong its service life.
3. Large range Mainly used for various cylinder tubing: through holes, axial and radial discontinuous holes, such as radial holes or groove holes, keyway holes, spline holes, blind holes, multi-step holes, etc.
4. Less cutting allowance In order to achieve the product accuracy required by the drawing, the honing process is a method that removes less allowance. In the honing process, the honing tool uses the workpiece as a guide to cut off the excess allowance of the workpiece to achieve the accuracy required for honing seamless pipes.
5. Strong hole correction ability The honing process can improve the dimensional accuracy, roundness, straightness, cylindricity and surface roughness of inner diameter of the honed tubes and outer circles by removing allowances.
